DJ Max Portable Black Square (Korean: 디제이맥스 포터블 블랙 스퀘어, DMP BS) is a music game for the Playstation Portable developed by South Korean developer Pentavision released on December 24, 2008 [1]. This is the third major game of the DJMAX series released for the PSP.

DJMax Portable BlackSquare(黑色方塊)是南韓遊戲開發商(Pentavision)於2008 年12月 24 日發行的音樂遊戲(music game)，為 PSP遊戲DJMAX 第三系列的主要遊戲版本。

The game includes various enhancements and new features built on from DJ Max Portable 2 and the prequel game DJ Max Portable Clazziquai Edition. On September 2, 2008, game details and video footage was released. The original aim was to launch the game in November, however due to numerous bugs found in DJ Max Portable Clazziquai Edition , the release of DMP Black Square was postponed.

遊戲比先前DJ Max Portable 2(酷懶之味的版本)，還增添了許多新的功能，遊戲的細節和影像於2008年9月2日發表，原本是要在11月的時候發行，但是因為前一個版本(酷懶之味)有發現許多錯誤，所以DJ Max Portable Black Square延遲發行。

Features:
·The same features as Clazziquai Edition, but with increased difficulty and an almost completely different song list.
·和酷懶之味版同樣的功能，但是增加了遊戲的難度和不同風格的歌曲列表。
·The same interface as Clazziquai Edition, but with a "Bling Style" appearance.
·和酷懶之味版的曲風雷同，但是有“嬉哈風格”的曲風出現
·Extended Club Tour Mode.

·2B Mode has been removed, but 4BFX remains.

·8B Mode has been re-introduced into the series as 6BFX.

·song patterns: Some songs have a special pattern, called RD style, that appears in the place of MX patterns on the song selection screen. This pattern is a remixed version of the song, and is usually harder.

·The game includes anti-piracy mechanisms, such as the detection of the "ISO" folder in the memory stick, in which it subsequently will refuse to run, as well as deleting savegame data for DJ Max Portable Clazziquai Edition. Nevertheless, hackers have managed to circumvent the protection in question through a patch.
·遊戲包括反盜版的機制，拒絕執行“ISO”文件夾中的記憶，並刪除酷懶之味版的秘技。
